Rates

Where possible, I try to provide the best competitive rate for my clients. I’m willing to discuss cost and budget openly, and we’ll mutually agree on a price for all projects before any work begins.

I provide a free sample edit (one page or 250 words, whichever is shorter) as standard before working with a new client. This enables you to get a feel for my editing style and allows me to estimate a more accurate timescale for completion.

I accept all payments securely via PayPal invoice. Please contact me if you would prefer to use a different payment method.

A 25% booking deposit is required for all work. Please note that this deposit is non-refundable if you decide to cancel, but I will work with you to reschedule if necessary.

As part of my mission to offer an affordable book editing service to authors from every background, all my listed fees are below the industry standard rates as set out by the Editorial Freelancers Association.
